You just might be surprised by what you learn by taking a few moments each day to tune into your body. Continue reading “Do You Notice the Messages Your Body Sends?”

How a Test Result Helped Changed My Perspective of Exercise

bruno-nascimento-149663

I’m not going to lie, weight wasn’t something I struggled with until recent years. I was very athletic growing up and was always in a competitive sport. Some because I enjoyed playing them and others because they helped keep me physically conditioned until my favorite sports came back in season. About 7 years ago, I put on quite a bit of weight. Between hormone imbalances, depression, and a desk job, I packed on the pounds. Before I knew it my test results Continue reading “How a Test Result Helped Changed My Perspective of Exercise”

Emotional Overwhelm | GUEST POST

This is a guest post written by Karin Brauner, a psychotherapeutic counsellor.

Have you ever been in a situation when you feel like you can’t keep your emotions under control? Relativity & Perception

Something that’s been getting my attention lately is relativity. This ties into perception and how things aren’t always what they seem. Time, space, size, distance are all examples of things that are relative. Two minutes might not seem like much time if you’re waiting for food to heat up but getting to an airport two minutes late you could miss your plane. Twenty miles doesn’t seem like a long distance to drive but might seem like a daunting distance to walk. Continue reading “Relativity & Perception”
