I’m so excited you’re interested in joining this book club! To provide a safe space where we can open up and share our truths about the challenges, struggles, and high points of parenting, all of the content will be password protected. The first book we’ll be reading as a group is “How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk” by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. This book is about communication and while it’s written for parents, I’ve found this to be useful in my communication with people of all ages! This book has great insights, tips, and techniques to expand our communication tools and help us be more effective communicators in our parenting relationship.
Do you have your copy yet?
Don’t have as much time to read as you’d like? I get it. Not everyone can read a chapter a week but you probably have time to listen to it! I’ve found that when I commuted to work, that was a great time to listen to books I’d otherwise enjoy reading.
If this sounds like something you’d like to participate in, click here to sign up and receive the password! You’ll be taken to an external webiste to fill in your details, just click on “Click here to enter” at the bottom of the list of those who have signed up.
Each Monday there will be an open discussion on the unit we read on a password protected post. The great thing about the internet is the conversation never ends! Whether you sign up in time to work through the units in real time, or sign up late and play catch up, we’ll go through this together!
If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments and I’ll get back to you shortly. I look forward to seeing you at the next discussion!
