I’ve noticed that I don’t follow many people on social media who work in the same industry as I do. It’s not something I initially did on purpose but I have become more aware of those I choose to follow online. While there are certainly many great people to draw inspiration from, I don’t want to put myself in a position where I’m trying to mimic, replicate, or compete with what they’re doing. Oh how I’ve missed you guys! I’ve given myself permission to enjoy the summer and make memories with my girls. While I’ve been flooded with ideas, I’ve been jotting them down because between blogging and building my business I could be glued to my computer all day (and night). So in the spirit of self-kindness, I’ve held a reduced posting schedule over the summer. We only have a couple of weeks left before we start school up and things will be back to normal around here.
