As someone who believes the statement by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin that says:
‘We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.’
I believe wholeheartedly that our spiritual health is just as important as the health in the other areas of our lives. I wanted to share this video with you because I absolutely love that this is for when you don’t feel like it. Let’s be real, we have days and chapters in our lives that are harder than others. Having a practice that you do no matter what is a great way to help you through those times. My go-to practice is practicing gratitude! Not just saying something I’m grateful for and moving on with my day. For me, it’s about starting my day off with gratitude and looking for the opportunities to be grateful in the midst of struggle. Whether mundane or monumental, I look for the even the smallest reason to be grateful rather than the obvious reasons to complain. It has made such a difference in my life!
