Week 2

There are some great prompts to spread random acts of kindness this week! This is to prepare us for the Kindness Challenge in May where we focus on specific aspects of kindness and write a reflection post at the end of the week. In the meantime, here are some great ways to incorporate more kindness into the lives of those around us.

The prompts are courtesy of the Kindness Ninja Challenge I signed our community up for to complete together. Feel free to share in the comments if you participated last week or plan on doing so this week!

Have a look at this great post from Niki. Showing kindness to everyone around us is an amazing thing to do and until I read this I hadn’t thought about how fun it could be too!

Make sure you sign up to her kindness challenge too!

      1. Of course it does… I love following your exploits and I’m pleased to join in (I signed up BTW).
BTW, while I was on your site there are some cool pics of you with coot tattoo’s on your shoulders… nice one! πŸ™‚

I’m told that once you start having tattoo’s it’s hard to stop, they look good on you as they are I think, don’t cover yourself too much. You know what they about too much of a good thing lol πŸ˜‰

      4. I know, I was waiting! πŸ™‚

Yes, I’ve always liked them. I asked for my first one at 14 and had to wait 4 years. πŸ™‚ Yeah I think I draw the line at my face πŸ˜‰

As long as you don’t draw a line on your face lol
How much are you tattoo’d up?
I’ve bern thinking about getting one for a few years now.

      6. 😊

Not a line, maybe a mandala πŸ˜‰ I have around half a dozen some large some small. I plan on getting both arms done completely and then I’ll see where I go from there. What would you get?

      7. What’s a mandala? What’s on your arms? You like being decorated…. I want a tiger on my upper arm and maybe a dragon on my upper back. I’ve only decided on this recently.

      8. A mandala is that intricate design Buddhist monks make with colored sand.

I do, they’re permanent accessories I put a lot of thought into. My left shoulder is butterflies and hibiscus flowers and then an assortment of tropical flowers under that. I see, is it symbolic of anything in particular?

      9. It sounds like you’ve got some beautiful artwork on you.
I’ve thought about this lots over the last few years, i was born in the year of the tiger and the dragon… Dunno. I like dragons i think lol
