Meditating in Nature

Today I’m thankful for the wonderful time I had yesterday. I went on a hike with my photography group to practice all of the elements and techniques we’ve learned so far. It was a 4.5-mile hike in the woods. The air was crisp and the breeze was gentle but chilly. It was nice to just walk the trail surrounded by trees that hid birds singing their cheerful songs. The peace, tranquility, and sereneness recharged me. Time seemed to pass twice as fast in that enchanting forest though I savored every moment. It was an incredible walking meditation and I can’t wait to go back and try another trail!
