Grateful: The Process Brings Progress Week 5 Reflection Post

On Sundays I generally do a post on what I’m grateful for this week. This week we focused on gratitude in the Kindness Challenge so I’m going to recycle yesterday’s reflection post. Had I thought it out better I would have just posted it today…

What are you grateful for? Do you practice gratitude daily? Have you seen the videos this week on practicing gratitude? If not you should check them out, there’s some great stuff! Just type “gratitude” in the search box and it’ll pull them up. Happy Sunday!! ❤

The Richness of a Simple Life

This challenge doesn’t cease to amaze me! Each week I realize how far I’ve come from the person that I used to be. If you’ve been following my journey on this challenge, you’ll know that I used to be pessimistic and struggle with depression. Being grateful wasn’t apart of my thought process much less my routine. Until one day I realized that complaining about the negative things in my life was getting me nowhere fast. I decided to start being thankful for the positive things.

  1. I know I haven’t done the challenge 100% in a Blogging way but I do try to see the positive in my life rather than the negatives. It does make life easier and more enjoyable to live in . It can be hard to get out of a negativity vortex but the results of fighting it are worth it. x

    1. You get the benefits either way, I love sharing the journey but if you are participating unofficially that’s great as well! It can be hard, but the more you do it the easier it gets. Even if it’s for the small things. When I would find myself thinking negative thoughts I’d immediately try to think of 3 things that were either polar opposite or that I was thankful for and I found it hard to stay in that negative space for long. Keep practicing you can never be too thankful! ❤
