Meet & Greet! Pizza Party

This party is now over but feel free to browse through the comments to find new blogs to add to your reader! Meet and greets are every other weekend so there’s one just around the corner!

Welcome to the party! Excuse the mess, this weekend snuck up on me! So have a seat and make yourself cozy. This weekend we’re having a pizza party, so let me know what your favorite kind of pizza and drink in the comments and we’ll place our order! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Rules of Engagement-

  1. Leave a comment with your favorite type of pizza and drink to go along with it (thin crust, pan style, New York, Chicago, toppings, make us drool!)

  2. Leave a link to a post or blog other than your own.

  3. Leave a link to your blog or a specific post.

  4. Share, Share, Share! Spread the word via social media or reblog. The more people that see this, the more visitors we get and the more participation!

Thanks for playing along with this theme, this weekend snuck up on me!

  1. Thanks for stopping by the party! My favorite pizza has to be New York style white pizza with ricotta and spinach (delicious!!!). I’m not much of a beer drinker but I would probably kick back a nice cold Shandy ๐Ÿ™‚

Nancy recently liked one of my posts and her tagline caught my attention. I clicked on her blog to skim as I put a post together this week and what I saw was heartbreaking, humbling and inspiring. She’s a bedridden author and raises awareness for victims of trafficking.

    Thanks again for stopping by!

  3. You had me at pizza, Niki. My favourite pizza? Tough choice. Thin crust, lightly done with fresh mozzarella, spinach, chicken, with homemade BBQ sauce. Or good old pepperoni. Ok, to be honest, as long as it doesn’t have raw onions, I’m there. ๐Ÿ˜‰ As for a drink, probably just plain old water or in a dream world, a chocolate milkshake, extra thick. I can dream. ๐Ÿ˜‰
It’s always tough to narrow down bloggers, but I’ll start with Janice over at Janice and a group of wonderful ladies work tirelessly to promote other bloggers (like this wonderful meet and greet) and give blog advice. It’s like finding blogging treasure!
And here’s my latest post which could be alternately titled ‘Go Nancy Drew Yourself!’ – you’ll see why
Thanks Niki, for the great party – I know I’m a bit early, but I’ll be back! Now off to share! ๐Ÿ™‚
Hope this weekend treats you kindly!!! Hugs, Donna

    1. I know, picking a favorite pizza is a tough one! I looooove thin crust pizza. I have to be careful though because I feel like it’s light as air so I eat way more than I should in one sitting ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Ooooh homemade BBQ sauce, delicious I’m sure!! Oh my, chocolate milkshake…not sure that I’d have it with pizza but hey, I wouldn’t turn it down for dessert! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thank you so much for stopping by for another meet and greet Donna, the party should start to get more crowded as the weekend presses on. Feel free to stop back by grab another slice and find some new to you blogs ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy Friday!

  4. Deep dish Canadian bacon, pineapple, and cashews — I discovered this at Organ Power Pizza many years ago. Coffee goes with everything, but so does White Zin.

I invite you all to meet Mae Claire at She writes paranormal mystery/thrillers and is an enthusiastic participant in Rave Reviews Book Club, a great support system for authors.

  5. First of all, love pizza. Put mine on the grill, thin crust, with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and basil from the garden! Paired of course with a Wisconsin brew (New Glarus: Totally Naked) is a nice light beer for a hot night.

Here’s the issue I re-blogged but it went to my blog of; I wanted it to go to my site (I will try again) thanks for the invite.

    1. Oooh I’ve never had grilled pizza before. I’ve heard it’s delicious! Oh my gosh, that’s awesome that you have a garden! Makes it taste so much better knowing each topping was homegrown with love!

Thanks for sharing, and for the suggested blog!

      Happy Friday Kim!

      1. During the summer that’s how we prepare all our pizzas (even frozen), turn on the grill at medium high on one side only, place your frozen pizza over the non lit burner. It will be ready in about 10 minutes!

  6. Oh, I love pizza and came over thanks to Sue Rantsch ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you so much for hosting this pizza party. Is there wine as well? You know, I love my glass of wine!

Now, I hope you are not offended but I thought I bring some pizza dough along, I made it this afternoon. I know, making pizza is a bit of work, so I figured I might lend you a hand. I like my pizza with a thin and crunchy base. What about you? Toppings… some vegetables would be great, like Eggplant and Zucchini. But let me make one of my husbands favorite for you, a pizza with only potatoes (thinly sliced) and cheese with a sprinkle of salt and rosemary. Hope you will like it ๐Ÿ™‚

Now… I just finished preparing my Picks Of The Week post for tomorrow in which I usually share the links to the posts I enjoyed the most reading over the week. So if you choose to visit my blog tomorrow (Saturday in Australia) then you will find some good reads. If you like blog challenges as much as I do, you might like this one:

And here is a post I wrote a little while ago and thought I might share it with you today. I write about so many things on my blog but bullying is one of the subjects I tend to come back to.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Hello everyone! My favourite pizza is thick crust basic cheese and tomato!
Here is an extract from my blog…
    “Life is hard when:

Your the most average person on earth
    Your a teenager
You have a mad addiction to sweets and YouTube
But somehow adults expect you to get through like its easy, yeah I donโ€™t get it either.

And its hard to be cool when you have:

    2 loud goldfish
    A plastic swingball set
    And a SmartBrick
    You wanna find out more?

    Get a glass of water
Cause this is gonna get weirdโ€ฆ..”
