4 Days Left!

Until the first annual Kindness Challenge begins! If you are already signed up, check out this post with the details to write your “before” post. If you are new to my blog or just heard about the challenge, check out the links below with all of the details you need to know about. Thank you to everyone that has spread the word about the challenge! I’m so excited to see new people committing to this daily. Every time you reblog or share a post about the challenge you are reaching people in your circle and helping me get the word out there so more people have the opportunity to participate.

Remember, this isn’t just for bloggers anyone can join! This isn’t meant to be time-consuming, you’ll incorporate the focus into your daily life and then dedicate a few minutes to reflect on it at the end of the week. Write a few words while you have coffee, while you wait in line at the store, or while you brush your teeth! There’s no minimum word count, the goal of the challenge is for you to focus on kindness over a 7 week period in order to see things you might ordinarily overlook. If you haven’t already signed up, you’re just in time to get on board before the challenge starts next week. Take a moment to add your name to the Details and Sign Up page and share why you decided to take part if you like.

  1. Reblogged this on Unmeasured Journeys and commented:
Don’t you just love being a part of something that has the ability to change someone’s world?

I do. Remember my month long New Year’s SO KIND resolution challenge in January, called the ReSOlution of KINDness? That was really fun and an eye opener about how kindness can affect many people even when we don’t realize it.

Today I stumbled onto another kindness challenge and I decided to join in. I thought it’d be great to pass it along to you because she said you don’t have to be a blogger to participate, anyone is welcome.

I love that. Kindness is everywhere.

What I love about her challenge is that the first week is centered around being kind to ourselves. That is something that seems to get forgotten in the hurry of daily lives. It’s like that quilt at the back of the laundry room that never gets washed because the piles in front of it get too big and are always washed first.

I also love how the weeks are divided into do-able categories. That’s very well thought out.

If it’s in your heart, I hope you’ll join in. I’m really looking forward to this opportunity to be mindful about sharing kindness and just want you to know that you are more than welcome to join in!

      1. No but I will… Sorry to be late on this! Often I think we all need to be kinder to ourselves. It’s easy to criticize and harshly judge ourselves. Self kindness sounds like a great way to start off! 😊

Don't be shy, I'll reply ;)
