Meet & Greet!

Comments are disabled as the event has ended. Thank you to everyone that participated. I go through and look at each and every blog, and the clicks show that other bloggers are visiting too! Hope to see you at the next one! If you missed it, check out the excellent selection of blogs in the comments section and mark your calendar for the next meet and greet the first weekend of April.

Welcome to the fourth edition of my twice monthly meet and greet! I try to come up with a different theme every time and this week’s theme is

a country. Not just any country, take a look at your stats and leave the name of a country in the comments section. It can be the most exotic country you have a reader from, a country you’ve never been and want to visit, the country that you have the most readers from, the choice is up to you. The only thing I ask, is that it be a country listed on your stats page.

Here are the rules of engagement-

  1. Leave the name of a country listed on your stats page (most exotic, most readers, farthest away from where you live, whatever you want)

  2. Leave a link for a post from a blog other than your own

  3. Leave a link for a post to your blog

  4. SHARE this post (social media or reblog)

  5. Engage with other bloggers! Been to a country they mentioned? Tell them! Want to go to a country they listed? Let them know! Get a conversation going, you never know what connection can be made!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope that you enjoy this weekend’s theme. It’s Father’s Day weekend here so I won’t be as active on Saturday but I’ll be stopping by to take a peek whenever I can sneak away.

  1. I had a reader from Vietnam today! Would love to see the country someday myself. And I am a huge fan of the food.

A blog I highly recommend is Fat Girls Fitness:

It is a blog by three childhood friends who share their stories of healthier lifestyles.

And plus stop by and read my blog:

Currently I am talking about how I got talked into doing Ragnar, a 120-mile relay race.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

    1. I can’t say I’ve ever had Vietnamese food. There’s a restaurant not far from my mom’s but the few times I’ve gone to try it, they’ve been closed… That sounds like a great blog to visit! Thanks for the links, I’ll be sure to check them out soon! Thanks for stopping by Kris!

And this is Mark He does great photos and stories and I had to pick someone and we have been conversing off and on all day and Simon already is here probably at the beers πŸ˜‰

    1. I’m starting to think that I fell asleep in Geography throughout my school years because I’m hearing of all kinds of countries I don’t recall having heard of before… A Dutch island, adding to my list of things to learn about…
Thanks for the links, I’m sorry to hear about your cat, I hope Gizmo is doing alright. I’ll be sure to read it as soon as I get the chance. Thanks for participating!

  3. Hi Niki!

Thanks for hosting another great meet and greet.

I have had a few reads from Seychelles. I’d love to visit Seychelles, because it looks tranquil. I’m sure I’ll leave with loads of inspiration for a new book.

The blog I’m going to share is called Out an’ About Miriam shares pictures and stories from her travels around Australia. Reading her blog makes me want to pack my bags and head to Australia.

Here’s a link to my blog Home, Hugs and Huskies
I’m a self published author, illustrator and mom, amongst other things. My blog gives readers a first class ticket on my trip to Crazy Town.

  4. Hi Niki. Six coffees later and I am back! I am not exaggerating. One of my biggest regrets is that I did not travel more before kids. There are two fabulous places in my blog stats that I would love to visit: Australia and Thailand. Someday? A blog that I love is Ana Calin. I enjoy her quizzes very much. She takes the time to respond with such insightful comments:
Here is my latest blog post: I Murdered a Leprechaun
