Grateful Sunday- Support

It’s that time of the week that I look back and reflect on what I’m most grateful for. This week I’m thankful for the support I’ve received during this blogging adventure. When I started back up this year, I wasn’t expecting it to be different than the last time. I was hoping the 52 followers that I had would start reading what I wrote and I was happy to write to those that found me and followed me in the beginning.

When 52 turned into 100 and 100 into 300 in less than 2 months, I was floored. Those numbers may not seem like much but it’s amazing to me because of the sense of community that I’ve found here. I’ve all but given up on Facebook because there’s nothing social about it for me. I am amazed by the sense of community there is in the blogging world. I’m honored to be apart of such a great community and thankful for everyone that has supported me and fellow bloggers through meet and greets and reblogs.

The support started with my husband encouraging me to write again. With him and my mom reading the posts. With you finding, reading and following. I’m so thankful for every like, comment and follow that I receive. I’m humbled by the kind words and encouragement I receive. This is what makes this blogging experience worth dedicating so many hours a day towards. It’s hard work, but it’s worth it.

So today, I want to say thank you for believing in me, encouraging me with your kind words of support. Yesterday I wrote about taking a step further on my path of motivating and encouraging others. My blog is a platform that I have been using for people to be able to relate and be inspired. I want to be able to do that in a way that is more specific and help people to reach their potential and have someone in their corner that will help them explore and discover their path.

I’ll leave you with this quote that speaks to me because of you.

  1. Thank you for this post, I feel the same, there is something very special about the blogosphere, the connections we feel and find are truly different than in our everyday life, We freely express ourselves in a way very distint than under normal meetings, I love being part of this and I am truly grateful also for everything I have found , experienced and the emotions I feel this really is maybe my Utopia

    1. It’s amazing to me to connect with people that I don’t physically know in a way I don’t connect with people I see everyday or am friends with. I love my blog community! I’m so glad you feel the same way and can relate πŸ™‚ I agree, you definitely express yourself more freely in this environment.

  2. Isn’t it incredible? The support from fellow bloggers?? I often feel wrapped up by a warm, comfy blanket when I get feedback. Even though everyone’s tales and perspectives are so different, there’s the commonality of writing we share, and when someone appreciates something you’ve written, it’s a lovely reward. Looking forward to more and more from you.
