Popup Challenge- Day 2 Quotes

The popup challenge Sorcha at SimplySorcha nominated me for continues with 3 new blogs for you to take a look at and 2 inspirational quotes.

Two of the bloggers that I chose today are ones that I have come across in the blogging community recently, the other is one I hope to reconnect with. I hope you enjoy their blogs as much as I do. Listed in alphabetical order.

Nominees- if you would like to participate, here are the rules of engagement-

  • Post for three consecutive days
  • Posts can be one or three quotes per day
  • Nominate three different blogs per day
  1. Angie at Indulge Your Inner Foodie is a mom with some recipes that I have yet to try but look amazing!

  2. Connie over at Endless Ponders is one of the first bloggers that I connected with when I started blogging again a  year ago. She is a mother, teacher and writer. I love her way with words and her honestly.

  3. Michelle has a fitness blog with a great mentality. She is very supportive of where everyone is with their fitness journey and genuinely wants to motivate her readers.

The theme for the quotes I chose is time. Blogging is a hobby for me and something that my husband encouraged me to start up again after trying it out a couple of years ago and walking away from it due to a comment that cut pretty deep and made me question if this was for me or not (don’t take that as a cry for pity- I just couldn’t believe my words could hurt someone I didn’t know so deeply when that was the farthest from my intentions).

I hope that you can relate or find inspiration in these quotes if even for just a brief moment.

This one reminds me of my love for writing, it is something I have always wanted to do but never took seriously. Sometimes I think I’m too old to get into this game, but this quote puts that in perspective for me.

This quote resonates with my passion to slow down and live a more simple life. If you are always looking towards what comes next, you can’t enjoy the moment you are in. Don’t look for what lies ahead to bring you happiness, you miss out on the chance to be happy now.

    1. Thanks Kim! Finding quotes is harder than it seems, especially when you post more than one. I was like do I just do a mix up or a theme? I saw these two on my Pinterest board and had to find cute pictures for them 🙂

Our paths have crossed again! Your day is off to a start and mine is winding down 🙂

      1. Haha! I had the same struggle with my quotes … Themes or not, one or three, finding pretty pictures & then not knowing if I’d be breaching copyright if I didn’t credit the website (in the end I went with less pretty pictures but they have a logo on them for the website lol). My first quote will go up in a few hours time.
Always nice to cross your path! It’s 10am here & my sorry ass is still in bed after reading until 3am 🙂 Hope you had a great Saturday … Look like lots of comments on the Meet & Greet! YAY!

      2. I know right?! I ended up using stock images and putting the quotes on them to be safe… not sure if that is a breach of copyright since I’m not crediting whoever made up the quote but I don’t know who made them up…
Can’t wait to see your quotes! Agh! 3 am?! That was me last Friday night, up until 4 am then the girls were awake by 8…yikes! It’s just after 11 pm now, I’m absolutely making myself get off at midnight. Maybe I’ll have to not plug the laptop in so I have to get off when the battery dies… yeah probably a better chance of that happening. 😉
I’m so excited, I was not expecting that at all. I was like if my 5 regular commenters post something that will be great! I wanted blogs to browse, I think I’ve got blogs to last me all month!

      3. Exactly! Who would’ve thought picking a quite could have so many mine fields 🙂
I always think sitting up reading is awesome … Until I’m suffering from sleep deprivation & a body clock all out of sync. It’s like jet lag but from a book. Perhaps I shall follow your lead & leave the kindle unplugged so the battery dies 🙂
Well done on such a successful first Meet & Greet. I’m just about to wade into the blogs & recommendations to see what gems are waiting. Found about four through it already 🙂
