Just when I thought I was done for the week, two notifications popped up in my alerts. It’s my anniversary! With WordPress. Apparently it has been 3 years since I signed up for WordPress (thank goodness I’m using the basic free version because I’ve only used it for maybe two calendar months of those 3 years).
The second notification is that I wrote my 50th post. This one I am proud of because it takes a lot of time, thought, dedication and editing to post. I have been writing more consistently so the notification couldn’t have come at a better time. I know that my blog is small, I don’t write to be famous I write because it is something that I’ve always enjoyed. I wanted to be a writer growing up but didn’t believe that I had what it took to be successful so I took a safer route. This blog is an outlet for me, I try to be clever, creative, funny, and just write about whatever comes to mind.
So while my blog may be small, my followers few, I am motivated everyday to write about something. I get excited about every like, comment and follower that I get. I love to see where people are reading my blog from. India, Australia, Ireland? That is amazing. Whether I ever get another like, comment or follower, doesn’t fuel what I write or how I write. I do this for me, not for the audience, I’m just glad you stopped by on your walk around the blogs.
